Bob Wallin

Bob Wallin is a Realtor,® Senior Real Estate Specialist and Exchange Specialist with Windermere Napa Valley Properties. He also has years of experience specializing in institutional-grade real estate investment opportunities.

Background
Prior to joining Windermere, Mr. Wallin worked with a nationally recognized real estate consultancy specializing in institutional-grade real estate, such as Tenants In Common (TIC) properties, specialized real estate funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), and LLCs. He assists clients with the acquisition of suitable real estate investment options for their portfolios, funded through direct investment, IRA/qualified plans, or 1031 exchange.
Earlier, he worked for an International Fortune 500 company for more than 30 years. His numerous assignments with the firm included real estate and capital development, franchise work and marketing operations with small to medium sized companies involving many years of retail and financial consulting.

Mr. Wallin has been teaching real estate classes covering Internal Revenue Code Sections 1031 (Exchanges) & 121 (Homeowner Exclusions), Co-ownership, Retirement Strategies, including other real estate areas for the Adult Education Department of the Napa valley Unified School District.

Active in local business, Mr. Wallin is a member of the Napa Valley Chamber of Commerce, Northern Bay Area Association of Realtors and Business Networking International.

Mr. Wallin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University, and continued Master of Business Administration coursework in Labor Relations from the University of California at Berkeley. Additionally, he has earned Certificates of Real Estate and more recently a Certificate in Paralegal Studies designations.

Personal
Mr. Wallin and his wife have lived in the Napa Valley since 1969 where they raised their five children. For many years he was been active as a volunteer in the Napa community. His recreational activities include skiing, hiking/backpacking, fishing, traveling and he enjoys reading and music for relaxation.
